I genuinely enjoy your work, your writing has a very original vibe and there is much thought behind your ideas. Unfortunately, some of it is very hard to parse, like maybe the 'vibe' gets too far off the ground, which I feel can hurt its accessibility to the readers. Of course, good writing doesn't have to be maximally accessible and I don't want you to just water down your content, but there is a fine edge between being able to discern the different layers and profound meaning in a piece of writing, and no longer being able to safely decipher the contents without coming up with strange interpretations.
I know I'm just one commenter, but I would really appreciate it if you gave my message a minute of your thought. To give more specific examples, I felt like the pace was a bit intense particularly in sections 'Parallax' and 'No View From Nowhere (sorry)'.

Great stuff - I can see the vibes of unbridled curiosity coming to life and reason. Small technical correction that makes your argument more interesting: The FEP does not simply prescribe prediction error minimization at all cost. The free energy functional naturally has a regularising complexity term that acts like Occam‘s razor, which directly detracts from the accuracy term of your world model. I believe that this chiseling away of overfitted details to one’s world model that virtues / values originate in. A shared drive towards simple world models under sufficiently similar priors provides the basis for large-scale coordination around shared gods.

I'm glad you shone some light on your deep, living in the depths, Octopus god. I read few of your articles, but will surely read more. I wonder if you ever wrote anything on the lineage, links (if any) to Lovecraft's work. I'd be curious to read something on that if you wrote anything on it.

i never dug deep into lovecraft but inspired by Cthulhu as an image for existential risk (and the arms race dynamics towards it); and i like to think of the Octopus as the inverted version towards the good timeline
übermensch = nietzsche's ideal of making up your own morals
dividual = not individual but relational agent between persons
exquisite corpse = a drawing game where different people draw head, torso, legs
